How to convert images to PDF

Straighten a page before converting
Every image you add appears as a small preview in the list. If one is sideways or upside down, turn it with the ↺ and ↻ buttons until it looks right, and the PDF page will match what you see. Photos taken on a phone are rotated automatically using the orientation the camera recorded, so most pages are already the right way up before you touch anything.
Auto-correct colours
Scans and photos of paper often come out flat and greyish because the lighting was uneven. Switch on Auto-correct colours and each page gets a gentle levels correction: the darkest and brightest half a percent of the image are clipped, then the rest is stretched back across the full range, so blacks look black and paper looks white again. It is applied per page as the PDF is built, and it leaves an image alone if it is already using the full range.

Can I set the order?
Yes. Use the arrows to arrange the images before creating the PDF, and the previews show you the order you will get.
Why was my photo sideways in the PDF?
Phone cameras save the picture in the sensor’s orientation and record a separate tag saying which way up it should be. That tag is now read and applied, so photos come out upright. If one still needs turning, use the ↺ and ↻ buttons on its preview.
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Each image in the list has its own rotate buttons, so you can straighten a single page without affecting the others.
What does auto-correct colours do?
It stretches each colour channel back across the full range after clipping the extreme 0.5 percent, which lifts dull, greyish scans. It is optional and off by default.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is built in your browser and your images never leave your device.
