Acceptance
By using GlobalTimeTools.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Nature of the service
The site provides free informational calculators, converters and data displays. Results depend on the figures and assumptions you enter and on published rules and rates that change over time.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site is tax, investment, insurance, legal or financial advice. Tax calculators reflect the rules for the financial year stated on the page as we understand them; your actual liability can differ based on your circumstances. Market data may be delayed and must not be used as the basis for trading decisions. Consult a qualified professional before acting on any calculation.
Accuracy and availability
We work hard to keep formulas and rates correct and the site available, but we provide both "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may modify or discontinue any tool at any time.
Acceptable use
You may not scrape the site at abusive volumes, attempt to disrupt it, or use our data proxies as a backend for your own applications.
Intellectual property
The site’s design, text and code are owned by us. You are welcome to link to any page. Republishing our article content without permission is not allowed.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, including decisions made based on calculator results or market data.
No government affiliation
GlobalTimeTools is an independent, privately run website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by or in any way officially connected to the Internal Revenue Service, the United States Department of the Treasury, the Income Tax Department of India, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, HM Revenue and Customs, or any other government agency or tax authority. References to official forms, publications and rates, such as IRS Form 4562 or Publication 946, are for identification only. Always confirm any figure against the current official source before you rely on it.
Tax and financial figures
Tax rates, thresholds and rules change, sometimes mid-year and sometimes retrospectively. We update the tools when we become aware of a change, but we cannot guarantee that every figure reflects the law on the day you read it. Nothing on this site creates a professional relationship of any kind, and no result produced by a calculator here is a substitute for advice from a qualified accountant, tax practitioner or financial adviser who knows your circumstances.
Our Android apps
We publish Android apps under the Global Time Tools name: World Clock and Photo Tools. These terms apply to them as well as to this website. Both apps are free to use, and neither asks you to create an account.
Subscriptions and one-time purchases in the apps
Each app offers an optional premium upgrade that removes the ads. It is sold in three ways: a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, and a one-time purchase that removes the ads permanently. The current price is always the one shown on the purchase screen inside the app, in your own currency; no price is written into these terms, because Google Play sets and displays it.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and you keep the ad-free app until that period ends.
How to cancel. Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Manage or Cancel, which opens your Google Play subscriptions. You can also cancel directly in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, which is what Google requires for the cancellation to take effect for that period.
Refunds are handled by Google Play, under Google’s refund policy, because Google is the seller of record for every purchase made inside an Android app. We cannot process a refund ourselves. If something is wrong with the app, write to contact@globaltimetools.com and we will help, and you may still need to raise the refund with Google.
Changing phone. Your purchase belongs to the Google account that made it. Sign in with that account and tap Restore a Purchase in the app’s Settings.
If prices change, Google notifies existing subscribers before a renewal at the new price, and the subscription continues only if you accept.
The apps are provided as they are, on the same terms as the tools on this website: useful, carefully made, and not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing above limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu having jurisdiction.
